Infrastructure Director Maple Grove, MN
Salary: 150000 – 165000 per Year
The Director of Infrastructure, Architecture & Security is responsible for strategic planning, implementation & support of technical infrastructure, including network, cloud environments, servers, and end user computing devices across the organization. They will also drive the planning and implementation of security-related solutions to defend against, detect and react to threats. The role will need to develop strong relationships with functional business leaders/stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals, and with technology partners/vendors to ensure the value of our application/platform portfolio is fully realized. A significant responsibility for this role is developing & managing a high performing team through mentoring, coaching and on-going skills development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management: Leads the strategy & architecture definition, procurement, implementation, and on-going management of our technical infrastructure. This includes all networking needs across multiple sites, all cloud-based environments, on premise data centers & servers, and end user computing devices across the organization. Effectively collaborates with across the organization to build technology strategies that support corporate objectives. Manage technology solutions & lifecycles to optimize total cost of ownership across the portfolio.
- IT Security: Leads the planning and implementation of security-related solutions to defend against, detect and react to threats affecting our IT systems. Manage the life cycles of security-related solutions, including identify management, firewalls, virus and ransomware protection, data back-up and archiving.
- Talent Development: Develops a high performing team by building skills through coaching, mentoring and ongoing training & development. Manages a team of employees and contractors, providing IT infrastructure design, deployment and support talent across the organization.
- Operations Management: Leads the operational support and on-going maintenance of our IT infrastructure
- Relationship Management: Builds and manages strong effective partnerships with internal and external teams. Strong leadership presence; responsible for critical strategic relationships with key clients/stakeholders/sponsors at executive & functional leadership levels. Manages agreements with numerous key technology partners.
Education/Experience:
Required • B.S. in Information Technology, Business Administration or related fields OR 10 years of relevant IT experience
- 3 years of IT personnel management
- Broad technical infrastructure acumen & understanding
Desired
- 5 years of IT personnel management
- Management of major IT projects
- ·Experience with hybrid (cloud/on-premise) footprints, SD-WAN, Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- Experience managing large licensing agreements (ex. Microsoft, Cisco)
- Awareness, implementation and management of security frameworks, technologies and related best practices
